This whisky is usually used for blended scotch and is very rarely available as a standalone single malt.
The smell is sweet and minty, with aromas of chocolate chips, roasted peanuts, dried parsley and moss. The taste is sweet and slightly acidic, with notes of citrus, spices, ginger and chilli before the medium-long dry finish ends in a chocolaty aftertaste.

Strathmill 12 is mild, round and balanced. It is one of the eleven bottlings of the Flora & Fauna Collection.
Strathmill (or Valley Mill) is located in the picturesque valley of the River Isla at Keith in Speyside. In 1968, the number of boilers was doubled and cleaning devices were attached to the upper condensation lines, the so-called "Lyne Arms". These give the whisky a slightly oily character that fits perfectly with its dominant fruit and grass notes.
