The enclosed instructions (English language not guaranteed) can be accessed via QR code/link to further additional material with tuning tips to improve acceleration by e.g. tuning the clutch with harder springs, or by installing a sports coupling. Such an extensive information material is probably not found at any other manufacturer.
It is therefore absolutely recommended to tune the variomatic and test rollers with different weights, which leads to considerable results and allows the potential of the variomatic to be fully exploited. We recommend the tuning sets listed below with 3, 4, or 5 different rolls. Matching tool is also listed below.
High-quality variator made by CNC technology with optimised roller raceways, which improves the draught. Increase the final speed by approx. 10 km/h possible if the variomatic ring is omitted during installation. When installed with variomatic ring, unchanged final speed, but improved draught.
