Turn off the scooter. Remove the screws on the steering column below the display and leave the steering column open. You will now see the display connected to a cable. There is a plug in the middle. Unplug this plug.
To restore the speed limit (low speed), please turn off the scooter, wait at least 2 seconds and then turn it on again. Currently, the maximum speed of the scooter is reduced to 20 km/h. To activate the high-speed mode (without speed limit), press the left brake eight times when the scooter is standing.
Then press the right accelerator pedal eight times and wait two seconds. The maximum speed of the scooter increases to 30 km/h.
The tuning chip allows you to achieve the target speed by adjusting the scooter software. With a top speed of 30 km/h, this product eliminates the need to replace the motor with a more powerful, Bluetooth board or controller.
Once the error indicator goes out, the code is deleted and the beep stops, communication is complete and the speed limit is lifted. You can now test and the maximum speed has been increased to 30 km/h.
Note 2: To activate the high speed mode (without speed limit), you need to unlock the scooter within 30 seconds after starting. After this deadline, the unlock will fail. In this case, please turn the scooter off and on again.
Note 1: The scooter starts in speed limit mode by default. (If the scooter is switched off for more than two seconds, it automatically returns to speed limit mode.)
Insert the tuning chip between the display and the cable. Make sure that you are aligned correctly and not to damage the chip. Then place the tuning chip in the middle of the steering column and screw the screws back in.
First connection of the speed controller: after connecting the speed controller, it must communicate with the scooter controller when first starting the scooter. This process takes 40 seconds. Meanwhile, the error indicator (wrench) in the instrument panel lights up, shows the red code 10 and a beep sounds. Do not perform any operations during this time to avoid communication errors.
