Size understanding The inner diameter of each solid rubber tire is intentionally designed slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the rim. This ensures a secure fit and prevents the tyre from slipping or jumping. Don't worry if the tyre appears small on arrival - this is normal. Heating makes the rubber soft so it can stretch during assembly. These tyres fit rims with an outer diameter of approx. 6.93-7.09 inches (176-180 mm) and a groove width of approx. 1.65-1.73 inches (42-44 mm).
Installation note: soak the tyre in boiling water for 15-20 minutes before fitting to soften the rubber. This makes it easier to stretch and pull the tyre onto the wheel. The assembly requires considerable effort, we strongly recommend performing the task in two or with several people or visiting a professional bicycle workshop. Installation instructions and video are included.
Important note: these tyres are NOT compatible with scooters that use the following original tyre sizes: 10×2.275, 10×2.70-6.5, 10×2.125 or 70/65-6.5!
