The manufacturers were inspired by the Norwegian landscape when making their gin. Thanks to the long daylight hours, warm days and cold nights, Norway has the best conditions for growing herbs and berries. In fact, 18 of the 26 plants used grow near the distillery in Norway. The basic product of potatoes also comes from the region.
The bottle design is supposedly inspired by the Huldra, a female figure of Norwegian forest sages. It has an irresistible appearance and attracts men to the caves with its irresistible charm.
Quality is very important here. The Bareksten Botanical Gin is only distilled in small batches, creating a taste-intensive gin with raised fruity notes.
Only Norwegian and natural botanicals are used for the production of the gin. The base is the potato brandy, which has been flavoured with various botanicals.
Bareksten Botanical Gin won the double gold medal at the Francisco World Spirit Competition in 2017 and 2020.
