Jasmine rice is the basis for a variety of different dishes; often this variety is used as a base for sweet desserts, in Thai & Vietnamese cuisine it is often served with curry & grilled meat.
Its unique texture is characterised by its long and slim grains, which have a smooth surface and are slightly glassy. Its grains remain soft when cooking, creating a slight consistency.
