Fokker Dr.I Red Baron: The Fokker Dr.I, often referred to as the Fokker Triplane, was a World War I fighter aircraft built by the Fokker aircraft factory. The Fokker Dr.I entered widespread service in the spring of 1918. The Fokker Dr.I Red Baron is famous for Manfred von Richthofen's last 17 victories on the plane (plus two victories in September 1917 with the Fokker F.I prototype) who died on the plane on April 21, 1918. When he died, the serial number of the plane he flew was 425/17.
