The Powers Gold label returns to its origins and makes use of old, valuable traditions that you undoubtedly taste out. Triple distilled and stored in ex-bourbon barrels, this masterful blend impresses with an extremely high proportion of Single Pot Still IrishWhiskey and mainly spicy notes.
The Powers Gold label has been available since autumn 2013. With its combination of non-chill filtration and 43.2% alcohol content, it is a rare exception: usually only whiskeys with an alcohol content of 46% are produced in this way. But the triple distillation of this unique whiskey allows it to be bottled at 43.2%.
Spicy hints of cloves, white pepper and cinnamon that meet fruity apple and pear aroma with a slightly woody note. Notes of cinnamon, green pepper and nutmeg in harmonious combination with delicate roasted, fruit and vanilla aromas. In the aftermath oily to velvety spice that merges into hints of wood and grain.
