The process - Mezcal Artesanal is characterized by traditional, traditional procedures. Only ripe, wild-growing or cultivated agaves are used that are harvested by hand - for example in the rough mountains of San Luis Del Río. Once ripe, the agave is carefully cut by experienced hands and then slowly roasted in stone-lined ovens, a centuries-old technique.
THE PEOPLE - Don Baltazar Cruz Gómez is Del Suelos maestro Mezcalero. Growing up in a family with a long agave building tradition, he learned the craft since childhood and created Mezcal, which reflects both his deep roots and his devotion to authentic, expressive spirits. Alí Rogelio Ramírez - not from a traditional Mezcalero family - traveled all over Oaxaca to learn local traditions.
Our values - The brand for Mezcal stands for sustainability and fairness. All agaves are cultivated using sustainable farming methods to preserve soil health for generations to come. The company maintains fair standards and ensures that everyone - from farmers to artisans - are respected and fairly paid.
Our Palenque - A distillery in the remote mountains of Oaxaca produces exceptional mezcal. It owes this to its unique climate, nutrient-rich soils and experienced local producers - the result is complex aromas from the wild and cultivated agaves of the region.
