This luxury whisky was introduced in 2013 to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee and the 60th anniversary of Royal Salute, and is therefore presented as a truly noble blend.
The blend of malt and grain Scotch whiskies is packaged in a hand-engraved porcelain bottle in sapphire blue, one of the colours of the royal crown jewels.
The aroma is delicately honey-sweet paired with fruity notes, and the taste is reminiscent of a basket of ripe fruits – the Royal Salute 21 maintains an excellent balance and has a full-bodied finish.
The Chivas brothers, John and James, wanted to create something unique and elegant, something that was different from anything that had existed before. It was not without reason that they became Queen Victoria's purveyors to the royal household in 1843.
