Over 175 years ago, the foundation stone for the history of the Wilthen wine distillery was laid. Because already in 1842, the most exquisite brandy wines of the highest quality were created in the Rittergut brewery of the Cathedral pen Sankt Petri in Wilthen. Over the years, the quality of the fires has been constantly improved and already in 1900 the Wilthen wine brandies won a gold and silver medal at the World Fair in Paris. Wilthener is still committed to this tradition today and in the cellars of the venerable distellery ripen wine brandies and specialities that do not need to shy away from comparison with the best cognacs in the world.
