Forged from bourbon, oloroso and pedro ximénez sherry barrels, it delivers a lush balance of plum, orange blossom, caramel and warm spice. Typical of dingle, the standards are without cooling filtering and undyed with 46.5% vol. bottled. In newly designed bottles. The silhouette of the legendary "Wren Boy" from Dingle not only expresses the distillery's close bond to its home, but also provides recognition in bold colours.
In the winter of 2012, a pioneering decision was made in the small village of Dingle on the Irish west coast: an independent distillery was founded. At one of Europe's westernmost points, nothing extends behind Dingle but the deep, infinitely seeming Atlantic. Due to the proximity to the ocean, the whiskeys of the distillery ripen in a mild, maritime microclimate. Quiet yet remarkable, it speaks to connoisseurs' palates through the contents of the embossed bottles. Until now, there have been dingle enjoyment experiences exclusively in the form of small batch releases. Now the Irish are recreating their first permanently available single malt Irish whiskey.
