Please note: Retinol can cause considerable irritation, redness and exfoliation in the early stages of treatment, especially around the eyes and mouth, while the skin builds tolerance. If you have not used high-strength retinol formulas in the past, we strongly recommend that you start your retinol regime with our retinol 0.2% in squalane and get used to higher strengths of retinol 0.5% in squalane and retinol 1% in squalane as your skin will build tolerance. You will achieve the same end results without the unpleasant redness and exfoliation as you go.
Instructions: Apply a small amount to the face as part of your skincare regime, after water-based serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid direct sunlight. Please note: Retinol can cause irritation, redness and exfoliation, especially around the eyes and mouth, while the skin builds tolerance. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Use only on unbroken skin.
