Hugin is a breed from Scandinavia and very frost-hardy. In the shoot with reddish leaves, in autumn with yellow to purple foliage. A valuable bee pasture in May with white mybells.
The 5-10 mm large, healthy fruits of chokeberry ripen in summer and are ready for harvest and enjoyment from September. The shrub is undemanding and resistant to diseases and pests.
