The apricot hargrand half stem is shipped in a pot or with pot bales directly from our fruit tree school. Each delivery contains a compact planting instructions with a QR code for detailed planting and care instructions.
The apricot comes from northeast China and was brought to Europe by the Romans in 70 BC. Since then, it has been preferred to grow in Italy and Spain. The leaf of this beautiful 3 - 5 m high tree is heart-shaped, the extremely decorative flower white to pink. The wood of the apricot is completely frost-hardy, the flower in many varieties endangered by late frost.
Planting: planting can be done immediately and at any time of year directly from the container/pot into the normal garden soil. The planting hole should be double the width and depth of the pot. The plant should be inserted as deep as it was previously in the container. Always water well after planting, and ensure balanced watering in the first year of standing. In the second year, the plant is ingrown and self-sufficient.

An apricot with large, oval shaped fruits. The skin is smooth and matte orange coloured. The pulp of this variety is firm, juicy and of very good fine acidic taste. The ripening period is late July to early August. Very good stone dissolving. The growth is strong, wide and compact. The yield is high and early onset. A newer, recommended variety (1980 in Canada), highly resistant to flower frost and diseases!
