Press the brake shoes apart with a suitable wide slotted screwdriver, this is only a few millimetres. These millimetres are crucial if you want to reinsert the new, thicker pads. Otherwise it will be too tight
If there is **NO** manufacturer on the brake system, then our brake pads should fit. If you want to be completely safe, then remove your old coverings beforehand. Or compare our sample bikes with your e-bike. We have also included a detailed photo of the brake system.
Depending on availability, the colour of the pads may be brown or black.
Change yourself made easy! Depending on the riding style, the brake pads on your e-bike wear sooner or later (500-3000 km). This is noticeable by decreasing braking effect and often a squeaking, and the brake lever can also be pulled through.
Bend the cotter pin holding the pads straight with needle nose pliers or pliers and pull it out. Now you can easily pull out the old pads with the clip. Insert the new pads and use the splint again to fix the pads. Screw on the brake system with the 2 Allen screws, done.
